About two kilometers from the section start, there is a detour 800 meters from the trail to Valkallen's peak, which is well worth the effort. From the top you have one of the High Coast Trail's most magnificent views!
The High Coast Trail then continues north along Grönsviksfjärden. Don't miss the short detour to Rödhällorna, where you can clearly see the red Nordingrå granite that is the landscape stone of Ångermanland.
Fjärdbottens fäbodvall on the headland at Häggnäset consists of three timber cabins with two bunk beds each and a larger timber building of about 35 square meters with long tables and benches. It is also possible to pitch a tent. There are two reliable cold springs adjacent to the embankment. Please note that you cannot get all the way to the sheepfold by car. There are parking facilities for 3-4 cars on the highway about 900 meters from the sheepfold.
The trail continues over Lidenipan and at the stage finish in Gavik there are accommodation facilities, toilets, drinking water and other services.
