Description
Extend your experience of Ulvön island, a place where history and culture meets people and nature. The museum displays a fisherman's home from the 1900s, with a boathouse, a dwelling and a typical area for hanging the nets called 'gistvall'. In the boat house you will find monitors with information about the fishing tradition, the salting houses, the way of life and some local stories about the people and the nature here. There is also a movie about author Lubbe Nordström's visit to the island in 1939.
