Vårdkasberget is Härnösand's own city mountain and is only a few kilometers from central Härnösand. Here, from the top of the lookout tower, you have a fantastic panoramic view and if the skies are clear you can see for miles and miles.

Description

The top can be reached by car and bus without any problems. A cottage with restaurant and conference facility run by Härnö Outdoor is located at the top. A bit away from the top, to the east, is the nature reserve Vårdkasmalen. Around the top there are nice walking areas and many grilling areas and wind shelters.

Here is also an alpine facility, nice hiking areas (Härnöleden Trail, Smitingenleden Trail, Härnö Trail-trail), exercise tracks/XC trails and MTB trails. At the ski center for the XC tracks there is also an adventure course for children, Härnö Trail Kidz.
